Unmatched Management Fees!


We pride ourselves on being completely transparent. You'll be hard pressed to find another company in the Shreveport-Bossier area that advertises its management fees. Whereas most companies locally charge 10% or a flat fee of $120, or more, we have always kept our fees reasonable and affordable for every rental level.

Monthly Management Fee When The Home Is Rented: 8% with a $80 minimum charge.

Leasing Fee: 50% of the First Full Months Rent - This is paid when the home is leased to a new tenant. For example, if a tenant rents a home for $1,200, a $600 lease fee is charged the first month and then the management fee is charged monthly afterwards. This is lower than the 60% to 100% that other local companies charge. This fee covers everything involved in leasing a property, including marketing, photography, showings, vetting tenants, move-in inspection, and everything else involved in the leasing process.

We do not charge an on-boarding fee, maintenance repair fee, or any other hidden management fees.

The first thing I did was look around at all the things other companies locally in Shreveport-Bossier were doing wrong. I contacted the leading management companies in other cities across the United States to see what they were doing right and wrong, I talked to owners about what their needs were and analyzed what every company in Shreveport was and was not doing. From that research, I built a company from the ground up that not only meets the needs of our owners, but exceeds their expectations.

From 2 properties managed in October of 2020 to over 500 at the start of 2024, we’re Shreveport’s fasting growing management company, and for good reason. More than anyone else, we’re extremely careful when choosing tenants, we focus on preventing problems rather than just addressing them, and we pride ourselves on regularly checking in on our tenants and properties, far more often than the once a year that’s standard in our market. That model of management has taken us from 2 properties at my dining room table to a 3,500 square foot office with 6 staff members and growing!

For example, our plumbing rates are 20-30% lower than the average Shreveport plumbing company, and our HVAC services include preventative maintenance with every call out at no additional charge.

  • Did you know My Property Manager is the only company in Shreveport that will change your tenants air filter every 90 days? For a small additional charge, we will go to your property or properties every quarter, change the air filter, and check on the property and tenants. It’s peace of mind knowing that every 90 days, management is keeping an eye on things.

  • We’re one of Shreveport’s best and most thorough companies when it comes to tenant screenings. Your tenant selection is extremely important. This decision can mean the difference between a long term tenant that loves your property and one that leaves halfway through the lease with holes in the walls. Among many other things I do that others don't are: Extensive background checks, credit checks, prior landlord referrals, eviction history check, income verification, and more. I've found that extra effort ensuring you have the right tenant can save thousands later. My Property Management has one of the lowest eviction rates in Shreveport.

  • At minimum, we do an inspection of your property and take time stamped photos to ensure your property is being kept in proper condition and to identify future repair needs. Minor repairs can be done to a roof or HVAC system that could save thousands later.
